Let the fun and creativity begin! Marty will help you with the initial set up of your domestic machine and then guide you as you explore the Sampler Templates from Westalee Designs. Each month we will use one or more of the templates to quilt a sampler block. Then use the blocks to make pillows, totes, lap throws, or a quilt.

September 26 class - using the circle and clamshell template - the green one
October 24 class - using the spiral and 12" arc template - the purple one
November 28 class - using the Spin-e-flex templates - the blue one
Required materials:
domestic machine in working order with owner’s manual;
Westalee sampler templates;
Westalee foot for machine;
Westalee 12" arc template;
Westalee spacing guage;
Janet Collins book;
extension table for machine;
Fabric: 2 yd solid or tone on tone fabric light colored is best;
Low loft batting such as warm and natural;
Contrasting thread for quilting - 30 or 40 wt;
Bobbin thread such as Aurifil or Bottom Line to match top thread;
