New Classes for the New Year

As the new year begins, take advantage of our class offerings to reach your new year's resolution to try something new, learn a new technique or finish those projects. 

Marty Tarter has a class coming up this Friday, January 9th at  9am called "Footin' Along".  This class is for all of you Viking owners .... so open that brand new Viking machine you got for Christmas!.  Learn the purposes of the fabulous feet available for your machine. For the next three sessions (January 9, February 13 & March 13), you will be making a great lap quilt called 'It's Five to Ten' by using the beautiful stitches on your machine to give a simple quilt real 'POP'.  Class fee is $25 per session. The "Footin' Along Club" meets on the 2nd Friday of every month.
 
Also upcoming are Marty's "Designer Groupies" on Monday, January 19 from 9am - 3pm.  If you have an Husqvarna Viking Designer machine - Topaz, Ruby or Diamond, let Marty show you all the wonderful things it will do.  Become more knowledgeable about the features that led you to purchase your machine and build your confidence in the skills needed to utilize those features.  This month's class will be an On the Go Bag, focusing on applique, design shaping and more.  Class fee is $25/session. This club meets on the 3rd Monday of each month. 
 

Take the guess work out of all the various stabilizers and learn fun new embroidery techniques by joining Marty for "Embroidery Extras".  This Club meets on the 3rd Wednesday for each month. with the next class on Wednesday., January 21, 9am - 3pm.  Make a Patchwork Heart Table Runner, use fabrics and laces as part of crazy patch appliques along with many surface texture elements.  Class fee is $25.
