New Machine Owners' Classes
We are proud to offer you a newly formatted class to help you get acquainted with all the features your new Husqvarna Viking Sewing and/or Embroidery Machine has to offer.
These classes are available free to anyone who purchased their machine from our shop and would like to maximize the potential of your wonderful machine. Even if you've been sewing on your machine for awhile, but are a little hesitant to use all the beautiful decorative stitches, or haven't taken the embroidery unit out of the box since you brought it home - these classes are for you!
We have the first 3 classes scheduled for June and July. We hope to be adding the #4 class - Advanced Embroidery in August. If you would like to attend but can't make it on those dates or times, please let us know what works for you. We are working on offering the classes on different days of the week and different times to make it convenient for everyone.
Please call the shop to register for these classes and to let us know which machine(s) you own.
The first class, New Machine Owner's Class #1 - Introduction, is exactly that - a basic class to introduce you to all the "bells and whistles" your new machine has. We will explore the main features and accessories that will allow you to sew with confidence, from threading to selecting the right needle to making a buttonhole. This class is for any model of Viking Machine.

New Machine Owner's Class #2 - Decorative Stitches, will show you all the beautiful decorative stitches and how to use them. You will learn how to gather or ruffle fabric, do a perfect satin or taper stitch, stitch sideways without turning the fabric, free-motion stippling and much more. Any machine with any decorative stitches built-in is welcome.

New Machine Owner's Class #3- Basic Embroidery will give you the confidence you need to embroider with the best of them! This class will go over the very basics of embroidering such as hooping, positioning, selecting and modifying a design, and programming and saving designs.

New Machine Owner's Class #4 - Connectivity and Advanced Embroidery - Your embroidery class was just the start. During this Connectivity and Advanced Embroidery Class, you will customize designs and learn how to interface your machine with your computer. You can then transfer designs to and from your computer directly to your embroidery machine. You will also explore design positioning and shaping and much more.
