Do you have a new sewing or embroidery machine (or new to you), and you don't know the basics? Join our instructor Jennifer for a private 2-hour class. Classes will be available on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 10:30-12:30, or Jennifer will schedule a time that works for both of you.

New Owner's Class #2 - Decorative Sewing
New Machine Owner's Class #2 - Decorative Stitches, will show you all the beautiful decorative stitches and how to use them. You will learn how to gather or ruffle fabric, do a perfect satin or taper stitch, stitch sideways without turning the fabric, free-motion stippling and much more. Any Husqvarna Viking or Pfaff machine with decorative stitches built-in is welcome. Please let us know which model HV or PF machine you will bringing.

We will explore the main features and accessories that will allow you to sew with confidence, from threading to selecting the right needle to making a buttonhole. Please let us know which Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff or Singer machine you will be bringing to class.

They will be available to assist you with quilting, embroidery or bag projects taught at Prairie Points. Do you have UFO's (unfinished objects) that you want time to work on, join us!
