Ruler Work BOM

Learn how to use templates and a ruler work foot on your machine to make easy and beautiful quilt blocks.  Meets on the last Friday of each month from June to December with Denise and Marty.

This uses the Template Sample Set 1 from Sew Steady and a
special Ruler Work Foot accessory for your sewing machine.
Both of these will be available for purchase at the shop.

First of all, THANK YOU all for coming to our Ruler Work 101 introduction class on May 10^th.  We really did not anticipate the amount of interest we have had.

Marty and I have been discussing how to proceed with the Ruler Work Block of the Month and think the framework outlined below is how we would like to proceed for now.  This is new so please pardon us as we find a way to make it acceptable to all involved. 

We thought we would start by offering a bit of a discount. 

Originally we told you $15 per class.  However, since this is our first attempt to offer something like this we want to show our appreciation for your patience and have reduced the price to $12 per class.  To our knowledge there will be 7 classes in the series and you can attend any or all and pay as you go if you like.  (But wait!  There’s more!)  If you pay for all 7 sessions up front, pay only $72 (pay by July 1, 2016 to qualify for this discount).  That’s like getting one class free!

Next, multiple class session times will be available.

Additionally, we do not think this can be a true hands-on class but instead will focus on tips and tricks and questions and answers.  We will start off by offering the monthly sessions at a few different times during the month.  We will plan to re-evaluate after a couple months to see if any sessions should be eliminated or changed.  So for now you can choose to attend one of the following sessions.  You do not need to declare which session you will be attending each month, you are free to come to whichever one works best for the month.

1.      The second third Tuesday evening of each month from 6:30pm to 8pm.

2.      The second Saturday afternoon of each month from 1pm to 2:30pm.

3.      The last Friday morning of each month from 9am to 10:30am.

During October the Friday and Saturday sessions must be changed:
    Friday will be October 21st and Saturday will be October 22nd.

Class supplies discount expanded.

As with all our other classes, supplies related to the class, such as rulers and fabric, can be purchased at a 15% discount.  And, BONUS, we will give you a 15% discount on other Westalee rulers not directly related to the class until January 1, 2017!
