Laura Heine Whatevers! Collage Quilting with Linda Lambert
Linda Lambert is back! If you were not able to join us for the Pumpkins, Turkey and Allium, we still have kits and patterns available.
This time Linda has agreed to let you choose your "Whatevers!" Pattern. You must sign before August 30th, and select your pattern to make sure we can get your pattern ordered.
Check out just a few of the patterns you have to choose from! Stop into the store to see a full line up of patterns to choose from. Bet you can't choose just one!
A Whatever quilt is an 8” collage block that you can turn into a runner, potholder, tiny quilt or continue making for a large collage quilt!
You may also want to bring along some of your own scrap stash. Learn Laura Heine's techniques to successfully create, secure, and quilt your work of art!
You should be able to have your collage completed by the end of class. Suggestions on quilting and finishing your quilt will be shared in this class.
There are basic tools that you will need to be successful. You will use and need these tools for future creations also.
Requirements:
- Laura Heine Whatevers!
- Laura Heine quilt kit, optional (highly recommended as this will allow us to complete the quilt within our class time)
- Karen Kay Buckley medium serrated edge scissors
- #2 Pencil
- 17in x 24in Silicone Appli-Fuse Mat
- 12" wide Steam-A-Seam 2, (No Substitutes), 2 yards
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Sack lunch
