Laura Heine Collage with Inktense Pencils with Linda Lambert
For this Laura Heine collage project, Linda will be sharing step by step instruction on how to use Inktense pencils along with fabric to create your masterpiece.
Prairie Points will have a fabric kit available for purchase for this class. You may also want to bring along some of your own scrap stash.
You should be able to have your collage completed by the end of class.
There are basic tools that you will need to be successful. You will use and need these tools for future creations also. If you have Derwent Inktense pencils, please bring them along. If you don't have them yet, Linda is happy to share what she has so you can try them out.
Requirements:
- Laura Heine Flower Shop #3 pattern
- Prairie Points fabric kit which will include background and flowers (highly recommended as this will allow us to complete the quilt within our class time)
- Karen Kay Buckley medium serrated edge scissors
- #2 Pencil
- 17in x 24in Silicone Appli-Fuse Mat
- 12" wide Steam-A-Seam 2, (No Substitutes), 2 yds
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Sack lunch
You do NOT need to bring your sewing machine.
