Teach the World to Sew Day™
This year's project is a simple sunglasses case, the perfect beginner project for new sewists to build confidence and discover the joy of sewing.
Color options: Blue + Red Stripes or Olive + Leopard Print
The first 10 people to register for the class will receive the materials to make the eye glass case free. You may use the materials provided to make the eye glass case, or if you prefer, you can purchase different fabric at the store. Who knows, you might just enjoy it so much, you will want to make more to give as gifts to your family and friends!
You may use one of our machines or bring your own. If you bring your own, be sure to bring the users manual especially if you are not familiar with the machine.
To secure your spot in this introductory sewing class, sign up in advance online or in the store and pay the $5 registration fee. When you attend the class, you will receive $5 in Prairie Bucks to spend at the store.
The event starts at 10:30 am and will run until 3:00 pm. The project will take about an hour. Show up at a time that is convenient for you.
