Quick Gifts in the Hoop: This class will give you some great ideas for Christmas gifts – and they’re all in the hoop! Different fabrics and designs, and you have gifts for all seasons. Kathi Lehman will show you all you need to do to make a mug rug or candle mat, a cute little zippered bag and a great gift set with a composition book cover and date/checkbook cover. 3 sessions – different project each session. Come to all or just the one you want. $15 per session. Supply list will be posted on the website or available at the shop.

                


Supply List for Dec. 13th -
We will be making a memo book cover and a date book or checkbook cover (can be used for either).  Please call Kathi for instructions on directional fabrics.

Memo Book Cover Supplies
Tearaway Stabilizer to fit 5 x 7 (240 x 150mm) hoop
Embroidery Thread (I use whatever I'm using on the monogram for the whole project)
Bobbin thread - pre-wound is fine. It won't show.
1 piece Lightweight batting or fusible fleece cut 6" x 8"
Main fabric (for front and lining) 2 pcs 6" x 9"
Contrasting pocket fabric - 2pcs 4 1/2" x 6"
Small scrap of fabric for monogram on front (I use a scrap of
     the pocket fabric)
Small composition book (black cover - 3 for $1 at Dollar General)

Datebook/Checkbook Cover Supplies
 Thread and bobbin thread as above
Tearaway stabilizer to fit 260 x 200 hoop.  2 pcs if you're
    have the 5 x 7 hoop
1 piece lightweight batting or fusible fleece cut 9" x 8"
2 pieces main fabric cut 9" by 8"
2 pieces pocket fabric cut 5 1/2" by 8"
Small scrap of fabric for monogram on front
Pocket Calendar - made by Mead (at Dollar Tree or WalMart)
     other brands may have to have a little cut off of them to 
     fit.
