Staff member of the week 
Hallie Clougherty

Hallie has been quilting for about 22 years.  The first quilt she made was for her daughter's nursery.  Hallie also enjoys doing handwork such as the embroidery for the Bertie's Year wall hangings (come in to the shop and see our samples made by Hallie!)  In addition to co-leading Quilt Club, you may see Hallie teaching handwork classes in the future (if you are interested in a class, please contact the shop and let us know!).  Hallie enjoys binding by hand and the "Ta-Da" moment of finishing a project.  Her classic favorite color is Camille pink (Camille Roskelly from Bonnie & Camille for Moda) although her new trendy favorite color combo is turquoise, grey and orange! She loves the vintage modern vibe such as fabrics and designs by Denise Schmidt (Free Spirit) and anything by Bonnie and Camille (Moda). Hallie's quote is "Make time to be creative everyday.  It's amazing how good five minutes of sewing can make you feel!"
