Arrive early (between 8:30 and 9am) and start your day with coffee and breakfast pastries while you plan which classes you want to take. Each class lasts 25 minutes. You pick and choose from over 25 classes. You will only have time for 12 classes - so bring a friend or two to cover them all. You will get all the handouts from all the classes, even the ones you can’t attend. You will learn about new techniques, tools, patterns and the latest and greatest notions. 

No need to bring anything - we provide it all, including your great lunch and bottled water all day! Your spot is reserved with your payment of $50 which includes EVERYTHING!!!

Staff member of the week 
Jan Mishler

Jan has been quilting for about 26 years but she has a been sewing for as long as she can remember.  Jan's quilting journey began with the desire to make a baby quilt for her first grandchild (he now has at least six quilts, as do each of the other grandkids!)  

Jan has a wealth of sewing/quilting experience as she professionally made home dec items for years.  Jan brings this knowledge to her Sunday Sew-In classes where she will help and guide you on any sewing/quilting projects.  Attendees always have a great time and are encouraged by Jan's knowledge base as they make and finish their projects.  Jan is also our paper-piecing queen and enjoys teaching interesting technique classes (if you have any requests, just let Jan or us know!).

Jan's favorite part of quilting is picking out the fabrics, cutting it up and sewing it back together.  Jan sews her quilt tops on her Viking Emerald 203 and when she is not piecing she enjoys using her Viking Designer SE LE for machine embroidery.  Jan's favorite color combination is black and red and she loves batik fabrics. Her favorite notion is her small rotary cutting mat which she keeps right next to her machine for ease of use when cutting, piecing and sewing.  Jan's words of advice are: "Buy enough fabric!"
