Here's what's happening at Prairie Points this week:

Annual School House Event
Saturday, August 30, 2014
9am - 4pm at the EP!C building in Peoria

Arrive early (between 8:30 and 9am) and start your day with coffee and breakfast pastries while you plan which classes you want to take. Each class lasts 25 minutes. You pick and choose from over 25 classes. You will only have time for 12 classes - so bring a friend or two to cover them all. You will get all the handouts from all the classes, even the ones you can’t attend. You will learn about new techniques, tools, patterns and the latest and greatest notions. 

No need to bring anything - we provide it all, including your great lunch and bottled water all day! Your spot is reserved with your payment of $50 which includes EVERYTHING!!!Sign up and come join the fun!!!

Shop Hop is almost here! 
Get your ticket at any of the 15 participating shops - still only $5. Proceeds this year go to the Central IL Food Pantry.

August Make-It-Take-It
Saturday, August 16th at 10am or 2pm

 "On-the-Go Travel Pillow'.  Come and enjoy making this darling pocketed pillow for your favorite little one (or yourself!) and tuck an extra special treat in the pocket for them.  Kit fee is $18.50.  Please call shop to reserve your spot.

Road trip time?
 Denise will be vending at the Piecemakers Quilt Show on Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17.  This is held at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL. 
We will also have  a booth at the Gems of the Prairie Quilt Show, at the Civic Center in Peoria on Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28. Come say hello!!!

What's New:

  From Moda - Lexington  by Simpson & Minick, beautiful reproduction in blues, tans and creams.  We have the companion pattern called 'Morning Walk' - beautiful!

 

We have also received more of the panels for Through the Winter Woods by Holly Taylor for Moda.  If you wanted some, hurry in, they are going fast again!
